Decore-ative Specialties commitment to green is highlighted in an easy reference tool for custom cabinet customers. The “Green, Greener, Greenest” program categorizes the company’s custom cabinet products/capabilities into three tier levels, ranging from Green (sustainable wood materials/responsible forest management, including custom cabinet bamboo, custom cabinet European steamed beech and custom cabinet MDF), to Greenest (FSC-certified products, no-added urea formaldehyde panels, and components used for projects seeking LEED certification.).

The Problem With Pre-Fab Kitchen Cabinets
The problem this causes is that when a pre-fab or stock kitchen is installed, more times than not there will be dead space because the pieces won’t fit your specific custom cabinet kitchen layout exactly. When this happens, fillers are used to cover up any areas where the dead space exists. Many kitchens can lose as much as one square foot or more of useable cabinet space when fillers are used. Custom cabinetry allows you to use the maximum available space for your remodeling project.
